NADKC TEST RESULTS: Derby:Prize I 4h in  field search

                                       Zuchtschau:  young dog,  SG1
                                                             mature dog, V
NAVHDA: Natural Ability-Prize I

Millie is a  calm, biddable, loving  dog. In the field and water she  is all business. with a neve quit attitude. Her casts are thorough and with purpose. Her retrieves are solid and to hand. She is a quick study which made training a pleasure.  Millie's points are with style and intensity. We are in the process of  testing her in both the NADKC and NAVHDA venues. At this time Millie  is a Derby and Natural Ability Prize I dog with an SG1 rating as the highest conformation rating she was eligiable for as a young dog. She was re-evaluated at  17 months where she received a V rating! She has an excellent search which is noted with an H in her search, adjusts to the type of cover she is hunting. She has an exceptional blend of desire and cooperation. She retrieves equally well, both on land or water.  Millie had been hunted in Maine producing solid points on both woodcock and grouse at the tender age of 5 months!

For the past 20 years, I’ve had the pleasure of hunting at Grants, located in beautiful Rangeley, Maine. What keeps me coming back year after year isn’t just the world-class grouse and woodcock hunting, but the exceptional experience provided by the friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment you arrive, you're treated not as a client, but as part of the family. The guides at Grants have a true passion for upland bird hunting and a deep respect for the game and their dogs. Their expertise and dedication to the sport are unmatched, making every hunt memorable and rewarding. Whether you're an experienced hunter or new to the field, their knowledge and enthusiasm elevate the experience.
At Grants, you may arrive as strangers, but you leave with a sense of camaraderie and connection, eager to return. It’s more than just a hunting trip—it's a tradition I’ve cherished for two decades and look forward to continuing for many years to come..
